A love of flower sand an identified need for a florist has led to the establishment of Bingara’s newest business, ‘Kerry’s Flowers’.

Working from home, Kerry White has set up a florist service, which caters for any occasion, including weddings, funerals, parties and individual arrangements. Kerry sources her flowers from Brisbane through an overnight delivery service and keeps her flowers in a cool room in buckets of water. The flowers stay fresh for up to a week in these conditions. “If people want to order flowers I need only a days notice,” said Kerry.

Kerry is open Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday from nine to three and available after hours from 3.30 on the other days. She has flower savailable on hand for customers looking for a beautiful box or bouquet of flowers.

“I’ve been doing a flower arranging course online,” Kerry said. The course covers all aspects of flower arranging for commercial purposes.

Kerry’s Flowers offers a free in-town delivery service and caters for weddings, birthdays, funerals or any special occasions.

“I’m doing my first wedding in September,” she said. Kerry’s Flowers is a home based business and can be found at 9 Dinoga Street, Bingara.
