Local riders visit Moree for first round of Club Championships

Sunday March 15 saw a large number of riders roll into Moree for the first round of the Club Championships, mostly there to have a race on the Boolloroo track leading up to the NSW Junior State Titles in which Moree will host Round 2.

Jamie Wilson was placed fifth overall in the Senior B Grade.  Rod Riley was placed tenth overall in the Junior 125/250cc, with a flat tyre putting him out of the 85cc.  Blake Fletcher was placed first overall in the Junior 125/250cc.  Jesse Rogers was placed fourth in 85cc and fifth in the Junior 125/ 250cc.

On Sunday March 22 Inverell held the first round of the Dirt Action Amcross. The boys had a fantastic day racing, along with two new faces from Bingara on their machines. Ethan McCosker had his first taste of Motocross, being placed sixth overall. Well done Ethan! Kallum McCouat was placed third overall in the Senior C Grade Open. Blake Fletcher was placed first overall in the Junior 250cc, riding for Vince Strang Motocycles.  Jesse Rogers was placed first overall in the 85cc and fourth overall in the 125cc.

Sunday March 29 saw Rod, Blake and Jamie head to a very wet Maclean for Round 2 of the North Coast Series. The track was very muddy and slippery but the boys handled the conditions extremely well. Jamie was placed third overall in the Senior C Grade. Rod was placed 12th in the 85cc. Blake was placed third in the Junior 250cc.
