The Bingara Advocate will host a ‘Meet the Candidates’ evening at the Roxy Theatre on Thursday, August 28, to give the residents of the Bingara area the opportunity to listen to and talk with candidates at the forthcoming Council elections.
The evening will commence at 6.00 pm, and will be chaired by Mr. Don Capel.
Because of the high number of candidates, time will be tight, so candidates speeches will be limited to five minutes, with questions to follow.
Tea and coffee will be served after the meeting.
The Advocate understands that a similar forum is being organised by the Warialda Chamber of Commerce, to be held in early September.
