Movies, Music and Mayhem – A Trivia Night with a Difference

September 21, 2009

The Roxy Theatre in Bingara will be a buzz on the night of Saturday October 10 as the North West Theatre Company hosts a Trivia Night with a Difference.

“Movies, Music And Mayhem” will use the film and sound systems of the Roxy to add clues and backdrops to a range of questions about “silver screen” and “juke box” trivia that will have you saying, “I know this one, it’s, it’s, it’s ….oh come on you lot help me here….!!!!”. Tables of eight mean that you can get your group together, or join onto a table with others. There will be special prizes for individuals and tables dressed and presented as Movies or Music characters.

“I’m sure that ABBA will be there, as well as Tom, Angelina, Cary, Marilyn, Elvis, and Cher, plus an amazing mixture of music and movie fans, keen to pit their wits against the “tip of the tongue” quiz questions.” Said NWTC President, John Wearne.

Tickets to Movies, Music and Mayhem are available at the Bingara Tourist Office at the Roxy Theatre or by phoning 6724 0066. The tickets are $20 and that includes a sumptuous supper prepared by the Westpac Rescue Helicopter Support Group which is the major beneficiary of the night.
