New cop on a familiar beat

July 5, 2012

Constable Hayden Mack (pictured above) has begun work as the new constable posted to Bingara.

Constable Hayden MackConstable Mack is experienced with country policing and country life. Having grown up in the Bingara area he has travelled between Bingara and Moree for the past four years. He attested from Goulburn in 2008 and has spent all his time since then as part of the Barwon Local Area Command posted at Moree.

“I’m enjoying the police force where every day is different but I’m glad to be giving the commute away” Constable Mack said.

Whilst this might be true, Hayden will continue to work in Moree at times due to his commitments as a Weapons Instructor which means he will regularly travel to Moree to train his fellow officers.

When not on duty Constable Mack will most likely be tied up with operations on the family farm along with the odd game of golf.

Most importantly Constable Mack is glad to be back in the area to which he was born and bred and keen to make a difference to his community.

His appointment to Bingara means a return to full strength for the Bingara and Warialda Sectors where four officers share the responsibilities of the north eastern part of the Command.
