Bingara’s new dental service has, according to dentist, Dr. Rani Gopa, enjoyed an “encouraging start”. “Several Bingara people have already used the service,” she told the Advocate.

Dr. Gopal is operating every Tuesday in Bingara, with services also provided in Warialda and Manilla, with a further service planned for Barraba. The service is coordinated through the Namoi Dental Clinic in Narrabri.
Dr. Gopal provides general dentistry services, including dental hygiene (scale and clean), fillings, crowns and bridging, denture work and whitening.
“I prefer to take a wholistic approach with a preventative option, provide with a treatment plan – and a long term view for patients,” she said.
“We will be working towards more patient education for home care and six monthly dental hygiene maintenance at the surgery.”
Dr Gopal is encouraging parents to bring their children in for yearly check-us from the age of three, with particular attention at six years and 12 years when the first and second lot of molars come through.
The Bingara Dental Service is situated at 30A Maitland Street, between the NAB and the new shopfront of Upcycled.
Bookings are recommended, although Dr. Gopal will take patients needing urgent work without an appointment.
