New England Mutual supports Bingara Businesses.

September 14, 2010

The New England Mutual, our local Credit Union, has offered to support Bingara and district businesses through Bingara and District VISION 20/20, by sponsoring a series of four dinners over the next twelve months. The first of these will be held at the Imperial Hotel on Wednesday evening, September 29.

This is a wonderful gesture from New England Mutual”, said V2020 President, Frances Young. “They have held regular breakfast forums in the past few years and now wish to broaden their horizons to partner V2020 in the process of getting Bingara businesses together.”

The Bingara Branch Supervisor for NEM, Chris Kneller, was very pleased to make the offer to the Bingara business community. “Businesses both in the town and on the land can benefit from the opportunity to meet, share ideas, and learn about the latest trends in finance and the business world,” Chris said.

At future meetings, guest speakers from a range of backgrounds including Internet use for promotions, banking and sharing ideas, workplace legislation, employment regulations, and Bingara promotion, will be sought.

“For our first sponsored gathering we thought that a simple meet and greet will be most appropriate” said Frances Young.“There are several new businesses in town and some exciting rural ventures underway. This dinner will allow people to get to know one another and to share ideas and experiences”, she said.

The venue for the first dinner, the balcony at the Imperial Hotel, will restrict numbers to sixty five, so early bookings are advised. To make a booking, contact Erik or Noelene Ozols at the Imperial on 6724 1629.
