Week two of Bingara’s Oztag competition saw the Warialda team “Cleveland Motel” defeat All Sorts with a score of 19 to 3.
All Sorts had the determination there however Cleveland Motel was keen to have a win for their first game in the competition.
Renae Simpson was awarded best and fairest. It’s great to see the two towns come together over a game of tag and may even bring an interesting twist to the finals in 2011.
Meat on Maitland had the bye so two games were played at 7:30pm.
On one side of the field saw Wotamob thump Sporto’s team with a score of 14 to 5, however both teams were only able to score 2 points in the second half showing how eager both teams were. Best and fairest points went to Matt O’Rourke Wotamob.
Imperial Tradies and Rusty nails played well however Rusty’s struggled to find players with only 6 players they went down 24 to 8. Well done to Hannah O’Rourke for best and fairest points.
