Riding to the Roxy

July 17, 2014

A group of 25 friends will be cycling from Guyra and Bundarra to Bingara on Saturday to attend the North West Theatre Company’s performance of The Curious Savage on Saturday evening.

Keen mountain bike riders, restaurateurs from Guyra, Peter and Narelle Malcolm, had wanted to arrange a “ride to the Roxy” to coincide with a show at the theatre.

The opportunity came with the NWTC’s latest production, and Peter and Narelle began gathering friends to accompany them on their journey.

Peter and about 10 other cyclists will leave Rafters Restaurant, Guyra at 6.30 on Saturday morning for the 150 km ride to Bingara.

Narelle and her group of 12 or 15 will drive to Bundarra before they ride to Bingara.

Peter told the Advocate they should arrive in Bingara at about 3pm. They will attend the play, and stay at the Imperial Hotel overnight before returning back to Guyra – by motor transport.
