WorkCover NSW in partnership with Gwydir Shire Council and The Roxy Theatre will be conducting a Safer Small Towns Initiative in Bingara on Monday 28 October 2013.
This is a chance for business owners, managers, workers and the community of the Gwydir Shire and surrounding area to meet the team from the Narrabri office for free safety assistance and qualify for a $500 Safety Rebate for their business.
Free Small Business Workshops:
10am and 1pm (60 mins each) Covering:
- Work Health and Safety obligations for small business,
- Changes to Workers compensation
- How to effectively manage workplace injury and help people return to work,
- The assistance available for small businesses to make it easier.
Free One-on-One Appointments:
Appointments are also available for small business owners to discuss their work health and safety, injury management and/or return to work needs.
Workshops and appointments will be held at The Roxy Theatre, 74 Maitland Street, Bingara.
