Motorhome Rally:
The first week of term saw the school involved daily from Tuesday to Friday with the rally. Bingara Central students of all ages performed a variety of entertainment at lunchtimes at the rally.

From infants to secondary, the students were warmly acknowledged by the crowds. A real highlights was on Friday the 17th when the Gwydir Band, excellently led by conductor Robyn Conway, held a concert under the very large central tent. Several hundred people watched the 40 minute concert and many stood up to applaud the students at the conclusion of the show. This is great and well deserved for the band students whose performances were first rate.

Congratulations to all involved in the entertainment  throughout the week. Secondary hospitality students were also responsible for providing lunches Tuesday to Friday at the rally campground. In a sense, the opportunity gave them industry experience and insight in the cooking of food and more importantly interaction with customers. After a slightly slow start to the week, by the end of the rally the students at lunchtime were providing over 100 lunches.

Well done to all involved and a special thanks the Mr Ben Wright for his contribution.
