Seafood Dinner to highlight halfway point of the Foster’s Hatchery Sponsorship

September 28, 2007

The Roxy Theatre on Friday October 12 will feature another fabulous feast of seafood, fine wines and beers, and fantastic entertainment as Bingara and District VISION 20/20 invite the members of the Bingara Angler’s Club, the Licensed Premises supporters and all of the Gwydir Shire Community to the Foster’s Seafood Feast.

On July 1 this year, the Foster’s Group, makers of VB, Carlton, Cascade and many other quality beers and ales, commenced their very generous sponsorship of the Bingara Murray Cod Hatchery.

Through to December 31 2007, Fosters will contribute TEN CENTS for every litre of their beer products sold through the participating Bingara licensed premises. The Sportsmans and Imperial Hotel, the Bingara RSL and Sporting Clubs, and Fay’s IGA…plus Liquor, have enthusiastically supported the offer.

Now, at the mid point of the promotion, another supporter, Bingara and District VISION 20/20, are hosting a seafood dinner to focus on the appeal and act as a fund raiser for their projects.

Fresh prawns, oysters and Moreton Bay Bugs, along with some local Murray Cod and a selection of non-seafood and vegetarian foods, will blend beautifully with the tasting of some quality beers and wines courtesy of Fosters.

An additional feature will be the great music of Tony and Helen Cornish’s Country Unity Band, and you have a real value evening. The price for the evening is $45 per person, and tickets are available from Fay’s office from Monday, October 1.

Get a table together and come along to the Roxy for the Foster’s Seafood Feast on Friday, October 12.
