Due to popular demand we are now able to offer a second performance of the Sapphires
With ticket’s being available for FREE due to funding received from the Primary Health Network, the first performance is now booked out.
A second, matinee performance has now been scheduled for Saturday 28th March at 2pm.
Don’t miss out on this great opportunity to see the stage show of The Sapphires live at The Roxy Theatre.
This will definitely be an event not to be missed so if you missed out on tickets for the first performance book NOW to avoid disappointment! It will be a first come first served basis, with both raked seating and cabaret tables available.
There will be NO bar operating at the matinee event on the Saturday so it will be BYO soft drink ONLY, no alcohol permitted, also feel free to BYO nibbles.
The Sapphires is a funny, heart-warming tale inspired by the true story of writer Tony Briggs’ mother. It tells of the incredible journey of a singing group of four Yorta Yorta Women who sing classic soul hits against the backdrop of personal change and massive social upheaval. It is an energetic, fun and engaging play that affirms life and the realisation of dreams.
