SES Volunteers receive awards

State Emergency Service (SES) volunteers from Bingara have received awards in a ceremony conducted as part of the Region Conference at Copeton Dam recently.

The awards for long service were presented by the NSW SES Commissioner Murray Kear.Bingara SES volunteer Brian Dixon and Bingara SES Unit Controller Peter Turnbull were recipients of SES long service.

“In the North West Region there are hundreds of SES volunteers and they do an outstanding job for our communities,” said North West SES Region Controller Steve Martin. “These awards provide tangible recognition of the efforts of volunteers and it is timely to recognise the support given by their families and employers.”
