On Saturday October 27, Bingara MPS Fundraising Spring Shindig night was held under the stars at the Bingara Showground.

Entertainment was in abundance and the crowd was kept dancing by the fabulous Melanie Dyer and Jamie Flegerbein.

Chefs for the night were Paul and Kerry White, Chris Shaw and Neil Shovel Galvin, who slaved over hot stoves all day to produce a meal that was sensational. All the food served on the night was donated, the desserts by Kerry White and Marilyn Dixon, the Lambs by Paul White and Angus Grant. As well as Meat on Maitland, PFD, Katering Supplies, Bingara Bakehouse and the amazing Bingara MPS staff who all generously donated goodies.

Georgia Standerwick, Eryn Nattrass, Kevin and Robin Hansen, Sporting Club, RSL and Debbie Bancroft all provided wonderful props to provide ‘that little bit of country’ feel for the night. To those who donated their time in setting up and of course cleaning up, thanks is not enough.

The wonderful posters and tickets were all kindly donated by Jo Miller, who is always a fabulous supporter of the MPS events and appreciation to the Gwydir Shire and the Roxy for selling the tickets.

The Raffle prizes were donated by IGA, Country Angel Photography and Jamie Flegerbein, and a kind thank you to Brian and Judy Mack who sold the tickets.
Finally the whole night would not have even gone ahead without the amazing work of the Bingara MPS Community Nursing Team, Tiffany Galvin and Megan Simpson, who work tirelessly to ensure an enjoyable and profitable night.
