Something for everyone at the Annual Flower and Wool Show

April 30, 2010

It’s that time of year again when keen gardeners and others gather together for the Annual Flower and Wool Show. It is on this  Saturday, May 1 at the
Wiseman-Crowley Hall from 9am.

This year, as well as the floral competition, there will be a pet competition and a dog jump course. Art work and photography will feature along with handicrafts and cookery with also best dressed doll and bear competitions. It would not be a Wool Show without fleeces being in competition.

During the afternoon at 2pm there will be Fashion Show presented by Boutique Capri Fashions.
Admission is free. Morning tea and coffee will be served from 9.30am for a cost $3. Luncheon from 11.45am will cost for adults, $10 and for  children under 12yrs, $5.  Afternoon tea, which will be served from 3.30pm will cost $4.

There will be a Trash and Treasure Stall along with sweets, cakes and produce all for sale. There will be a Street Stall in Maitland Street on the morning of the Anglican Flower and Wool Show.

A very warm welcome awaits all competitors and visitors to this year’s show.
