Something for everyone at The Roxy this November!

The Roxy has been lucky to secure James Blundell and Catherine Britt for the only performance in the region on their ‘Can’t Find Our Way Home’ tour. A one off show on Friday, November 25, has been squeezed into their busy schedule on the way north.

James was the firstAustralian country artist to create an impact on the mainstream pop charts and for many years was the highest selling artist in that genre. He was also the firstAus-tralian country act to sign to a major label recording deal in Nashville and has penned hits for Lee Kernaghan, Slim Dusty and Jimmy Little.

Catherine Britt has spent six years in Nashville and has toured, performed and recorded with some of music’s most respected names – Kasey Chambers, Paul Kelly, Sir Elton John, Shane Nicholson, Jerry Salley, Tim Rodgers and Kenny Chesney – and has worked with some of Australia’s and Americas finestproducers.

Tamworth Regional Youth Orchestra in Concert
On Sunday November 20th, at 2:30pm Tamworth Regional Conservatorium of Music and the Roxy pre-sent an exciting concert featuring the Tamworth Regional Youth Orchestra and Conservatorium Ensembles. A stellar showcase of young talent from around the Tamworth Region, sure to be inspirational and entertaining to all up and coming musicians and families.

Presbyterian Women’sAssociation Variety Afternoon
The Presbyterian Women’s Association will be hosting their major annual fund raising afternoon at the Roxy on Saturday, November 26 from 1.30 pm, with something for everyone!

From dance performances to the gospel sound of the Inverell Male Choir, saxophone and clarinet performances from Bingara’s very own Tori and Ally Dixon and the wonderful folk sound of Rick Hutton.

All proceeds from the day go to support the wider works of the Presbyterian Church, including “Meals for the Homeless”. So come along and support this wonderful cause and have an enjoyable afternoon for only $7 per person which includes afternoon tea.
