Former Warialda High and Bingara Central School student, Ashley Macartney will be bringing the Milmerran Concert Band and Rock Band for a once only performance with the Gwydir Concert Band at the Roxy Theatre this Saturday 23rd June.
Enjoy big band music with favourites like Bad Bad Leroy Brown, Old Time Rock n Roll and the Beatles classic, Yesterday.
If you have enjoyed The Voice on TV come along and enjoy individual solo performances by Warialda’s shooting stars, Maddie Rose and Tahlia Stevens.
Also performing will be the Gwydir Woodwind Quartet featuring Inverell’s Wendy Champion.
The Gwydir Concert Band which is made up of primary and secondary students, and adults is extremely polished at the moment because of all of the extra rehearsals for the Bingara community production of Big River Dreaming.
The concert commences at 5pm. Admission is a gold coin donation to the Bingara Central School’s Band Support Group.
