Super Blood Moon

May 26, 2021

The much anticipated SUPER BLOOD MOON did not disappoint. The occurrence of a super moon and total lunar eclipse provided an awe inspiring view that will not be seen again until October 8 2033. The entire eclipse was visible across most of Australia, including the Gwydir Shire.

The event took place between 6:47pm and 11:49pm. A partial eclipse started at 7:44pm, with the full eclipse was visible for 14 minutes between 9:11pm and 9:25pm.
