Talented performer on stage in ‘Lipstick Dreams’

September 6, 2015

Nedine Young plays the role of ‘Jo’ in the latest production of the North West Theatre Company, ‘Lipstick Dreams’.

Nedine Young

Nedine has considerable acting experience with the Company and prior to that, was a regular actor in local theatres in the south east of England.

She was attracted to this play because it contains a little music and singing, and music is one of Nedine’s passions. For her, music is a way to express yourself and it can provide an escape from the stresses of life.

Nedine doesn’t see any similarity between herself and the character she plays, but she does have empathy with her. Nedine thinks that ‘Jo’ is just making do, really needs to sort herself out, and seize any opportunity to improve her lot in life. But will ‘Lipstick Dreams’ be ‘Jo’s’ last opportunity to realise her dreams?

‘Lipstick Dreams’ will be performed at the Roxy Theatre, Bingara, on Saturday, September 12 with a matinee on Sunday, September 13.

There will be two more performances on Saturday, September 19 with a matinee on Sunday, September 20. For more details please go to www. roxybingara.com.au or telephone 0267 240 066.
