The Beetles and Classic Creedence in one fantastic double header show

September 9, 2011

The one and only true Australian tribute to the classic hits of The Beatles and John Fogerty’s Creedence Clearwater Revival, performed by seasoned professionals from Brisbane playing all your favourite hits with true showmanship and a great production is coming to the Bingara RSL this weekend.

Already hailed as the best double header Beatles & CCR tribute in Australia this band really takes it to the crunch. All songs are performed live in the good old fashioned Sixties vein as we know it, no backing tracks nor synthesized tricks for these boys, just honest real guitars, bass, drums and vocals that will truly make you feel like being teleported back to the early sixties.

The band is a mixture of artists who have performed with various other bands throughout their careers.

Main singer, Peter has worked with The Fab Four, The Screaming Sixties, The Australian Joe Cocker Show and many more tribute bands since his arrival in Australia.Currently working with The Beetles Clearwater Revival Show in Queensland, Australia, he is also working as a solo performer and session musician.

Besides playing live music, Peter runs a recording studio and music production company, produces records for up and coming rock bands, solo artists and composes music for film, TV and advertising. In his own words “Playing live music is good therapy for audience and artists alike and it keeps you sane in today’s world.”

Paul Van Acker, as bass player has played in many bands in his carrer including the current band he is also an accomplished key board player, left and right handed bass player and a drum major in his own right. He has quality vocal, which suit the Creedance sound he is an exciting personality and a wonderful performer and is an asset to this show.

Michael Foster is a very professional musician, having played in a succession of top rating bands over the last 20 years. He plays the part of John Lennon in The Beetles, also does a phenomenal Franci Rossi in our State-us-Quo. He would be one of the most dedicated, serious musicians any band would value. He is a very highly motivated musician and perfection is his ultimate goal whichever part he is asked to play.

James Lyras is one of the most exciting drummers and magnificent band members that any band would appreciate. He is in a class of his own and plays Ringo in The Beetles. He also plays Matt Letly in our State-us-Quo. He suits Classic Creedence to a T as his drumming and timing is said to be impeccable.
Classic Creedence is a supurb tribute to the original Creedence Clearwater Revival and is a show not to be missed this weekend at the Bingara RSL Club.
