Total clearance at Booroomooka

The annual Booroomooka Angus on property Bull sale last Friday saw a complete clearance of the 217 bulls on offer.

The top price was $28,000 for Booroomooka Marscay M570, a Te Mania Emperor E343 son. Buyer was Tim Reid, Melon Pastoral Company, through Landmark Goulburn.  The bull was purchased in partnership with a Victorian stud breeder.

The sale average was $9,036.

Quantity buyer was AAA Pastoral Company, a company owned by four partners, who bought a total of 27 bulls.

“The Angus cattle industry is looking strong,” Stud principal, Sinclair Munro, said.
