Local man, Stuart Lanagan took out top honours in the 2008 Beaut Ute competition at the Show, winning the Supreme Ute on the Ground.

Beaut Ute Steward, Alan Bilsborough, said he was very pleased with the turnout of utes on show. A total of 10 utes were entered.
