Variety Night & Twilight Fair

October 25, 2017

Bingara Central School will be celebrating on a grand scale this November with a huge day of events planned for Friday November 10.

The day will kick off in the morning with the school’s annual Celebration of Learning Day.

Last year’s event was a massive success with live entertainment, a barbecue, cake stalls and a visit by some top name footballers; and this year’s event is sure to be equally as impressive.

The celebrations will continue into the afternoon and evening with the school’s much anticipated Variety Night and Twilight Fair. The fair commences at 4pm with street stalls, food stalls and kids entertainment, and the annual Variety Night concert starting at 6pm. The concert will showcase the talents of the students of Bingara Central School, with musical recitals, dance routines and much more.

This Variety Night and Twilight Fair is a collaborative effort between the staff, students and P&C of Bingara Central School, and aims to promote the school and its achievements. This is the first time the fair has been held in conjunction with the variety night, and it is hoped that all members of the community will join in the celebrations.

“The P&C committee wanted to show the broader community, what our school has to offer by inviting them into our school” said Tiffany Galvin Bingara Central School President. “Following on from the success of the Amber Lawrence outdoor concert which was held earlier this year, we thought it would be a great idea to host another concert at the school to not only showcase our students and their talent, but to also raise much needed funds for the school” said Tiffany.

Mums, dads, grandparents, uncles, aunts and the general public are all invited to this family friendly night of entertainment. The P&C are also calling for stallholders who would like to trade on the night. For more information or to book a stall please contact Bingara School President Tiffany Galvin on 0428 241 318, or the Secretary Georgia Standerwick on 0407 906 610.
