Warialda Pony Club MS Ride

Warialda Pony Club is conducting their annual trail ride to raise money for the MS Society.  The ride will take place on the 16th and 17th of April 2011.  Anyone wishing to participate must be a riding member of a pony club, must wear a 3838 helmet and pony club approved riding boots.  Riding Membership costs $50.

The ride will commence at Brian and Bev Basham’s property, “Monomeeth”, approx. 10km from Warialda on the Gragin Rd. and go to Walter Reardon’s house.  Riders will camp overnight on the Saturday and continue riding the next day on Walters’ property, Springmount.  The approximate distance will be  40 km’s.

If you need to stable horses on the Friday night there are some yards at Brian and Bev Basham’s which will be reserved for parents with young kids. These yards have limited water- need the fire fighter to fill buckets.  The showground stables will be available also to reduce distances for carting horses on Saturday morning.

On the Saturday night Riders can shower at the showground if necessary.

Riders must supply feed for their horses and water buckets.

Riders must bring there own swag and camping gear including plates and cutlery.

Riders will need to bring a backpack with their own lunch and a water bottle on Saturday.  Dinner on Saturday and Breakfast, Morning tea and Lunch on Sunday will be included in the cost.

Cost: Adults $25, Children $15.  To be paid to Warialda Pony Club by the 8th of April.
