Your talent on stage at the ‘Pulse of the Earth’ Festival.

August 24, 2019

How would you like to be an entrant in the ‘Pulse of the Earth Talent Quest’ on Saturday August 7?

The North West Theatre Company is hosting and judging the event at the Festival. The many ‘grey nomads’ who journey around Australia have already been invited to enter as the ‘Grey & Thespian Mardi Gras’. Their invitation was made in the June edition of “The Wanderer” Magazine, but entries from all ages are invited to nominate.

Performances of songs, music, poetry or story telling are welcomed. Contestants can be as soloists or groups up to four people. Soloists will have an entry fee of $5 while groups will be $10 to enter. Entrants need to be more than ten years of age. Each contestant will have a maximum of five minutes to step onto the stage and perform their piece. Prizes include some unique trophies and gift vouchers.

Entrants can back themselves or supply a backing track as a cd. There will be two performance sessions before and after the lunch session at The Living Classroom in Bingara. To enter or for more information, contact the NWTC President Rick Hutton on 0438 355 197 or contact Rick at rhutton@gwydir.nsw.gov.au.

Why not join in the festivities as we celebrate the spirit of regeneration and showcase the talent from across Australia.
