Ride like a Girl screening – Country Comfort Fundraiser

The Community Comfort Committee will be hosting a fun family movie night at The Roxy on Friday 13 March 2020 with the screening of Ride like a Girl.

Community Comfort is a local initiative.
A group of community members identify those who are suffering a life limiting illness.

This person then receives a beautiful card which tells them that they are a valued member of our Bingara community and that their community is aware of their battle and that they care.

This person also receives an amount of money to assist them through their challenges.

Since its inception in 2011 Community Comfort has been given to over 150 people which highlights the importance of this initiative.

Ride like a Girl is the story of Michelle Payne. The youngest of 10 children, Michelle is raised by single and tough father Paddy.

She lives and breathes horse riding and never gives up on her dream to win a Melbourne Cup.

This may have remained a dream until she discovers and connects with the horse, Prince of Penzance.

6:30pm for a 7pm start
Adults: $20 each
Families: $50
