Senior Employee – Chris McNulty
Christine McNulty is well suited to her role as Veterinarian Practice Manager and Vet Nurse at the Bingara Vet Clinic.
Chris has a wealth of local and industry knowledge that serves her well in her position. Chris first studied at Warialda High School as a mature aged student in an IT class before completing her Vet Nursing course.
Chris now is giving back to the community that gave her that chance by helping more students in the Gwydir Learning Region reach their goals.
Junior Employee – Ally Dixon
Ally Dixon is a well known young local who has always brought her pleasant and bright personality to work with her.
Ally secured the position of Finance trainee at Gwydir Shire Council and quickly became an integral member of the team. Ally has superior customer service skills and is always willing to go the extra mile; this has been recognised by locals and visitors.
Ally always acts professionally and her flexible approach to work allows her to undertake many roles.
Large Business – Bingara IGA and Hardware
John and Karen Bishton have made a considerable investment to upgrade their premises and expand product lines.
The business employs many locals of all ages. Their business supports local students through the provision of school based traineeships in Retail Operations.
Bingara IGA and Hardware are very community minded as demonstrated by their support of many local community groups and sporting clubs.
Small Business – B & B Marshall’s Haulage Pty Ltd
Ben runs and operates his own livestock haulage business which has been in operation for a short 18 months.
He provides a prompt and reliable service and is always working to improve his business.
Ben has recently become accredited in the Livestock Loading Scheme and Mass Management adding to his industry knowledge.
As a producer himself, Ben has understanding and empathy for his clients.
