Congratulations to Abby Reddan who at 9 years old won first prize and Champion ribbon in the Under 16 Decorated Cake section at this year’s Bingara Show.
Abby is the daughter of ABR Pest Control owners, Julie and Alan Reddan, and showed great humour in entering her themed cake. Having previously entered in other cooking sections this year was the first time Abby had submitted a decorated cake.
Clearly creative, she spent time on the Pinterest website searching for ideas before settling on her chosen theme. Mum, Julie, says Abby’s talent comes from her grandmother, who was once a cake decorator. “She’s very crafty and loves to do things like that,” she said.
We’re already looking forward to what Abby comes up with for next year’s Show.
