Bikes to gather at Delungra community

January 3, 2013

A group of motorbike enthusiasts will gather at the Delungra Hotel in January to raise money for children with cancer.

With 85 riders already confirmed, the “Weeds and Waterholes Bash” will see the population of Delungra swell on the weekend of January 19 and 20, with riders coming from as far away as Adelaide and Melbourne.

Delungra means “weeds and waterholes”.

People attending will receive a ticket which will provide them with live entertainment on the Saturday night, and a free bacon and eggs breakfast on the Sunday morning.
A spit roast can be purchased on the Saturday night.

Space is available for camping behind the hotel, and the hotel’s showers will be available for the riders.

Bookings can be made with Janice or Don on 6724 8405, or Charlie on 0459 999659. The Delungra Hotel will need numbers for catering purposes, and would appreciate bookings by early January.
