The PSSA Zone Cross Country was held here in Bingara last Friday, May 13. Over 40 Bingara students competed in the carnival and all students ran very well. It was a great day in Bingara and many positive comments were received from visitors about our great town.
A very big thank you to all of the parents and helpers that came along and helped with the canteen, in particular Louise Daley who co-ordinated the running of the canteen. The P&C was able to make a considerable profit from the day.
Thank you also to Carmen Southwell who organised and ran a raffle on the day. A special mention must be made to the Bingara SES who came along last Friday to offer first aid support and did a fantastic job. The local SES put in a lot of hours around the town helping out with various events. Your time and effort is very much appreciated, thank you very much.

Colless Coombes – 5th in 11 years boys
Dylan Butler – 5th in 12/13 years boys
Sam Cannington – 7th place and 1st reserve for 12/13 years boys
