Bingara Central stands tall for Remembrance Day

November 18, 2015

Bingara Central School students were among a crowd of community members and ex servicemen and women who paused at 11am last Wednesday to remember not only those Australians who were served at Gallipoli 100 years ago, but also to honour the men and women who have served the nation in all conflicts.

The school children stood tall and proud as they reflected on some of the most important parts of Australia’s history, holding giant poppies as symbol of their respect.
