Bingara could be home to new VIEW Club

September 14, 2009

Women in the Bingara area looking for a social and community service club to join may soon be able to be part of a VIEW Club.  VIEW stands for Voice, Interests and Education for Women, and VIEW Clubs of Australia support The Smith Family.

A meeting to gauge interest will be held at the Imperial Hotel on Thursday, October 1, at  11 am.  Zone Councillor, Margaret Coyne, from Inverell, is bringing the president of the Inverell Club, Anne O’Brien, and a National and Past Councillors with her.

VIEW Clubs work for a number of projects, including Learning for Life, underprivileged children, and providing pamper packs for rural women in times of drought and other hardship. “VIEW Club meetings are a great way to have a fun day out, meet new friends and enjoy a meal together,” Ms. Coyne said.

“If you wonder whether it is your ‘cup of tea’, please feel free to come along and find out.” For more information, ring Margaret Coyne on 6721 2882 or 0429 052 882.
