A late storm Friday afternoon could not even stop kids enjoying cricket in Bingara. Although the Twenty20 matches were cancelled a great number of kids stuck around for an informal game and barbecue.
The rain did not deter the youngest cricketers. After a short stint under cover the Milo in2cricket session recommenced. Each registered child received their cricket pack including bat, ball, hat, shirt and backpack.
The move from Saturday mornings to the cool and convenience of Friday afternoons has proved a huge success with family enjoying not only sport but a social get ‘together’. If you haven’t already, come on, get in2cricket.
