Calling all actors

November 15, 2010

The Annual General Meeting of the North West Theatre Company is on the horizon – in fact on Thursday, November 18.

The meeting, to receive the various reports on activities over the past twelve months, will be followed by a general meeting to discuss possible productions and other events for 2011.

The company has had a quiet second half to 2010 due to the renovations which have been taking place at the Roxy.

This, however was offset by the marvellous production of “Joseph’s Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat” in conjunction with Bingara Central School.

The company has a proud record of achievement going back to the first production of  “Educating Rita”, and has involved a large number of people from the Bingara community and from throughout the New England/North West in many productions over the years.

This years production of “Joseph” unearthed large reservoirs of talent from school ranks , and this is well worth nurturing in the future.

The Executive of the company would like to extend a warm welcome to anyone interested in theatre and associated activities to attend this meeting and sign on for some real enjoyment.

This particularly applies to young budding performers. Remember – in theatre there is a job for everyone, be it on stage, backstage, up the front or wherever.
The meeting is at the Imperial Hotel  conference room at 6pm on Thursday , November 18.  Get yourself along !
