It has been a few years in the making but the Community Notice Board, organised by Vision 2020 and Gwydir Shire Council (GSC) has been installed.

The notice board which is available to be used by all members of the community is located on the front wall of the Bingara IGA and Hardware building and features a lockable glass cabinet.
“Barry Rogers has been very instrumental in organising this great community initiative,” President of Vision 2020, John Bishton told the Advocate.
“We would also like to thank the Gwydir Shire Council for their assistance in organising and installing the board.”
The GSC are assisting in the management of the board and those wanting to place a notice can collect the key from the Visitors Information Centre directly opposite the board in the Roxy complex.
