John Wearne and Paul Moulton drove the North West Theatre Company float, with members taking part in the ‘Showcase 2018’ this weekend riding on the back.

After an absence of several years due to insurance issues, floats made a welcome return to the Bingara Orange Festival this year. Winner of the parade display was the North West Theatre Company.

NWTC members dressed in costume, rode on the back of John Wearne’s ute, while others walked along, handing out information about the forthcoming production, ‘Showcase 2018’.

The parade was very well received by the crowd which lined the street to watch. Although floats are now allowed, several organisations still chose to walk the route along Maitland Street.
