GIELC Awards dinner on again

The Gwydir Industry and Education Links Committee Dinner is all set to be held next Friday, August 31 at the Roxy in Bingara at 6.30 for a 7 pm meal.

This dinner again incorporates The Warialda and District Chamber of Commerce Awards, Bingara Vision 20/20 Awards and Bingara Central School and Warialda High School’s Vocational Education Awards.

Students from both Warialda and Bingara Schools will be providing the entertainment before the official part of the evening begins.

This year’s dinner will be prepared by the Roxy Café Chef, Viorel Nedianu and the menu will be an alternative drop of: 

Mains: Lasagna – layers of lasagne with Bolognese rag topped with béchamel sauce and parmesan/lamb shank-slow cooked with garlic, rosemary, carrot, celery, red wine and fresh tomato sauce served with mashed potatoes.

Dessert:-Panacotta served with strawberry sauce, and brown sugar crisp crumble or Tiramisu.

Viorel will provide a non-alcoholic bar for patrons to purchase drinks.

Everyone is welcome to attend the dinner, it is not just by invitation.

All nominees have been notified by mail. All nominees need to reply by no later than Friday 24 August.
