Plans for the unveiling of the memorial to Dr Frank Hollinshead and chemist Bill Bullough are full steam ahead and with over 120 guests from out of town and as far as Singapore heading our way it looks like being a huge day.
The Council have been working hard to get the park ready in time for the celebrations and many will see the old map shelter has been moved already.
The day will begin with the unveiling at 10:30am and a luncheon at the RSL at 12 noon.
Although ticket sales have been strong, a few tickets are still available for the luncheon for anyone wishing to attend. Please ring Bernie on 6724 1175 or 0429 195 020.
Bingara Lions have huge plans for the park and all will be revealed at a free sausage sizzle on the evening of March 19 around 5:50pm.
“Why not come down and see what the fuss is all about. Be the first to sign up for our exciting new project,” Lions spokesperson, Judy Adams, said.
