It’s time to think about ‘Blithe Spirit’.

April 20, 2016

The North West Theatre Company’s up-coming production of Noel Coward’s delightful comedy, ‘Blithe Spirit’, promises to be one of polished performances, technical wizardry and spooky spectres.

It is to be performed, as five shows, opening on Saturday May 7 with a “Black & White” themed first night, a Mother’s Day Matinee on Sunday May 8, and a “Freaky Friday” evening performance on … of course,  Friday May 13 There are two more Matinees on Saturday May 14 and Sunday May 15.

The strong cast features the dynamic Inverell duo of Ben Daley and Peter Caddey, NWTC stalwarts Tanya Heaton and Johnette Walker, and Nedine Young in an amazing portrayal of the crazy and kooky clairvoyant, Madame Arcati. Newcomer to the NWTC, Grace Smyth plays the sassy ‘blithe spirit’ Elvira who, along with Rebekah Turner, Robyn Phillips, Frances Bilsborough and Henry Martin, make up the talented acting ensemble.

Expect to see another wonderful NWTC set with Paul Moulton and Geoff Leech building a ‘stage with a difference’ and the audio and lighting talents of Martin Hansford, the classic costumes of Susan Hutton, and the magical make-up of Nikki Galvin.

Why not pick a day or night to see ‘Blithe Spirit’ at the Roxy?  Make an event of it by bringing your family and friends, and consider getting into the mood of one of the special themed shows.
