June Long Weekend Tennis a Big Hit in every respect

A very successful weekend of tennis was played over the June long weekend with over 50 players coming from far and wide.  Most were from out of town, but there was a handful of locals playing.

The weather is often quite unkind to the tennis tournament, but this year it was perfect and the courts were in excellent condition.

This weekend is an annual reunion for a lot of tennis players. Tony Miller now living in Bingara was made an Honorary Director of the Tournament for 50 years of attendance first attending in 1958.

There was a strong number of entries in both the Open and Special events. Following are the results:

Open Mens Singles
