August 7, 2015

Bingara has a new Coordinator at the Community College. Lethia O’Neile, who lives at Upper Bingara, has been appointed to the College position to replace Sue Craig. Lethia commenced work last week and will be based in the College Office at Riddell Street.

New Community College coordinator, Lethia O’Neile“Lethia has all the skills and experience required to do a great job and will be an asset to the College with her skills, enthusiasm and some new ideas,” said Bronwyn Clinch, Community College Executive Officer.

“Lethia will be working over the next few weeks learning the systems, meeting the students and trainers, talking to the wider community and will commence planning for future education programs.”

“I will spend some time meeting people and asking what sort of classes they would like to see offered in the area so I can plan a program of courses to meet the local adult learning needs,” said Lethia.

“I hope people will feel they can phone me or drop into the College to talk about what classes they would like offered. I also hope to hear from people, with skills they can pass on to others, who could become tutors for the College.

“Opening times for the office are 9am to 3pm Monday, Tuesday and Thursday and other times by arrangement. But I will be responding to messages and emails so people should leave a message on the answering machine if I’m not at the desk and I’ll return the call.”

The College has a broad range of vocational and leisure programs on offer each term in Bingara complimented by a range of home study courses in the office administration area and a range of online learning options for general interest learning.

If you’ve got a suggestion for a course or skills to teach please contact Lethia on 02 67241 965 or email bingara@communitycollegeni.nsw.edu.au or call into the College for a chat.
