Phantom of the Roxy

May 27, 2016

“It is the 80th year of The Roxy Theatre in Bingara. Four children creep into the Roxy looking for ghosts. They stumble across Columbia, “Phantom of films past and present”. Terrified and totally overwhelmed by the situation, the children ask Columbia if she is the only resident ghost..to which she responds ‘No!’ She turns and introduces the children to Emanuel, Peter and George who built the Roxy and were surveying the restored premises.

The children then enjoy watching performances from well known musicals throughout the years and meet up with some of the stars from the past including Fred Astaire, Ginger Rogers, Judy Garland, Julie Andrews and Walt Disney.”

Under the guidance of Mrs Mill and Mrs Young, and staff of Bingara Central School students are fast becoming “Ginger Rogers, Fred Astaire, ghosts and others” in what promises to be a very entertaining performance.
