The Bingara Pony Club will host the Zone 8 Jamboree this weekend. Bingara Pony Club Secretary, Noelene Ozols reported on Monday evening that 140 riders from 11 clubs in the zone had nominated.
“A couple of the smaller clubs have nominated small teams because their pony camp was cancelled due to the wet weather,” Noelene said.
The Bingara Showground is looking beautiful, with the dressage arenas manicured, and the cross country course is the best it has looked for years. Mrs. Ozols praised the club president, David Nicolle and his band of helpers for the work they have put into getting the Showground ready for pony camp and the jamboree.
The jamboree starts today, with One Day Events being held.
On Saturday, campdraft, show jumping and sporting events are to be held, and Sunday will see ring events, Hack and Rider classes.
