Lot 13 brought a significant buzz to the new Booroomooka selling complex when he made his way into the sale ring last Friday.
The 829 kg Booroomooka Frankel F510 (AI), was the bull to watch, and he didn’t disappoint, with the bidding quickly reaching the sale price of $65,000, a record for Booroomooka Angus.
Frankel F510 was bought by Dick Whale of Independent Breeding Services, on behalf of a syndicate of leading Angus studs: Dulverton Angus, Shannon Vale Station, Glen Innes, Glenavon Angus Guyra, Wattletop Angus, Guyra, Knowla Angus, Gloucester, and Witherswood Angus, Glenrowan, Victoria.
Booroomooka Angus has retained a semen interest in the bull.
