See you at the Goose Show

Ceramic Break Sculpture Park and the Warialda APEX have the pleasure to invite you to Australia’s Biggest Goose Show, an art exhibition dedicated to the goose and all the nice things that geese do for us.

The art exhibition includes the photos of the Gwydir “Shoot the Shire Competition” and the announcement of the winner of the $1200 prize. Popular Sydney artist Robyn Berling will have 8 new works of paintings and pastels on display. Bingara artist Tony Gomez will have a major display of his photographs. Local artists Jenny Coote, Julie Bannister and the Warialda HSC final projects and a many works on display by the Borderline Art Group featuring award winning artists Chris Humpreys, Linda Nye, Sue Jurd and Rosemary Boyle. And a lot more!

Ashley Sutton will be demonstrating his creative blacksmithing in the craft market. Also, in the craft market will be Yvonne Leddingham with her homemade paper, Helga’s Creations, John McMasters and his award winning whips and more! There will be wine tasting by Dumaresq Valley Vineyard; Kookuna Berries of Walcha will have delicious berries with yogurt and ice cream and Sam Gomez with Spanish Donuts and yummy treats.

There will be music by the band Lorian who play popular covers and an eclectic mix of musics and a jumping castle and contests for kids and more!

The Goose Show is proudly sponsored by McGregors, Fays, The Roxy Theatre and Carlos IGA who have all generously donated prizes for the goose related events and contests on the day. The new Gwydir Shire Council Mayor, Peter Caskey, will officially open the show. Warialda Rotary will be running the bar and The Warialda APEX will have their food van at The Goose Show assisted by The Warialda Chamber of Commerce with all profits on the day going to cancer research.

Entry fee: $10 adults, kids under 15 years old are free.
