‘Shadows’ cast a Sleeping Beauty moment at the Roxy!

November 9, 2020

After a long winter’s sleep, the North West Theatre Company is set to awaken the beautiful Roxy with another very moving live theatre production.  The play is ‘Shadows’ by Josephine Carter and it has a cast of seven.  You can enjoy the play with friends and family and then stay on for a meal to be provided by the Bingara Lions’ Club members.

Over eight months ago The Roxy was alive with the poignant and lovely voices of ‘Louisiana Ladies’. NWTC’s Secretary Tanya Heaton stated, ‘The combination of a play and meal for Louisiana Ladies once more proved to be a winning formula for the NWTC, and this is why we will be working with the Lions again’. Tanya added, ‘It will be a great chance for friends and family members to come together, get out of the house and reconnect with one another’.

‘Shadows’ cast member Lee Louden said, ‘It has been so great to start rehearsing again. With Covid19 and its implications we have all missed out on things that we love to do.  More than ever this play allows us, as actors, to give joy to our audiences, and it allows them to escape just for a little while’.
