The Gwydir Shire is looking for photos of people, places, animals and events that capture the spirit of its unique Shire, so a new photography competition has been launched.

It is hoped that this competition will greatly improve the Shire’s digital photograph library.
The entry photos will be used to provide information about and promote the Shire. The competition provides a great opportunity to explore our beautiful area, zoom in on special features, unique happenings and interesting people. |
Warialda Works, Warialda Chamber of Commerce, Bingara & District VISION 20/20 together with Gwydir Shire Council are running a competition over a period of twelve months which commenced on 1st September; at the end of each season the winning entrant will receive $200 and at the end of the year the overall winning entrant will receive $1200. There will also be prizes for juniors and specific events that occur throughout the Shire.
