A drop in temperature didn’t deter the enthusiasm of the children that attended the Bingara Library Teddy Bear’s Picnic in the park.
Dozens of teddy bears lay in wait for their small companions, ready to enjoy a story on the picnic rug, climb on the play equipment and have a swing.
“Thanks to a donation from the Bingara Community Op Shop, the children were treated to the sight of bears everywhere in their local park.
At the end of the morning, they each chose one special bear to take home and keep,” said Bingara Librarian, Gail Phillpott.
“We had a great time and even had someone travelling past stop to join us for a short time.”
