Vision 2020 looks to leadership into the future

February 24, 2016

After the success of the Vision 2030 Summit, and the community coming together to face challenges such as the threat of amalgamation, Bingara and District Vision 2020 members are looking to the future.

“To control our future we need a vibrant and inspired community, with strong team players and innovative leaders,” Vision 2020 spokesperson, Garry McDouall, said.

Two two day workshops, to be facilitated by Amanda Cahill from the Centre for social Change, Queensland, will be held in Warialda and Bingara at the end of March, and beginning of April.

The workshops will teach people to be more motivated, positive and confident.

Communication facilitation and leadership skills will also be taught. The Cost will be $60 per person, and is sponsored by vision 2020, Gwydir 2030, Gwydir Shire council and The River House.
